First Aid Training

Our chairman, Chris Mitten, has contacted you because you are listed with North Birmingham Cycling as a registered Ride Leader.  It may have been a while since you led one of our rides. We would like to offer you some first aid training.  This could be of benefit to you regardless of whether or not you are currently leading rides.  The cost will be covered by our club, so would be free for you. It is a basic life support course and will include dealing with cardiac arrest, choking and some types of injuries.  The course will last approximately 3.5 hours. The training will be on Wednesday 5th July at The Cooper Room, Main Street, Shenstone, WS14 0LZ.  Depending on demand, there will be either one or two groups, with one starting at 1.45pm and the other at 6.00pm.  If you would like to attend please book your place by contacting me at chris.mitten2@gmail.com by Monday 29 May at the latest.
