Annual Club 100
We are now planning for the 2023 Club 100. We are hoping to enthuse as many members as possible to join and take part as it has been cancelled for the last couple of years. It is an historic institution of the club and the committee are keen to see it become a main fixture of our annual diary.
Time & Location
11 Jun, 07:00 – 21:00
Cooper Room, Main St, Shenstone, Lichfield WS14 0LZ, UK
About the event
Starting point outside the Cooper Room, Main Street, Shenstone, WS14 0LZ
Finish at the Railway Inn opposite, where you can have a drink and meal if you can manage after your 100 miles. The weather should be good that day so the beer garden would be a lovely option.
Riders can choose their 25 mile and 75 mile stops.
The 50 mile stop pubs recommendations are as follows:
Wharf Tavern at 51.9 miles
The Fox & Hounds at 52.6 miles
Riders are reminded that these pubs no longer allow you to consume your own food in their establishments.
There will be three groups on the day split by time to complete. We hope to have at least one group in each section but there can be more.
- Slow, 12 hours to complete, start at 7AM
- Intermediate, 10 hours to complete, start at 8AM
- Fast, 8 hours to complete, start at 9AM
We need leaders to put their names forward. They will then be published on this web page so people can then join those groups.
The organizer for the 2023 event is Ros Llewellyn. (click the name to send her an email, either with your ideas or to register your interest early to give us an idea of numbers)
